Yes, it is not all desert, we do have Elk

 

 

The above picture was taken at the Grand Canyon June 30, 2007

 

 

Yes, Arizona does have Elk, a healthy population obtained with intelligent game management

 

 

Nesting Great Horned/Desert Pace owl pair in Tucson Arizona 

 

 

It is not uncommon to see flocks of migrating Geese and Ducks

 

 

No Cactus here, just raw mountain beauty.

 

 

And then for contrast, one of the dryer places in the State, the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in June.

The entire owlet family makes an appearance in the Spring of 2007, two of the four made it and still show up occasionally.

 

 

Race back up to the Grand Canyon June 2007 again, this is the East most side, and the temps are about 110 degrees F
